Yvonne Rumpel (nee Gagnon)
April 24, 1931 – June 20, 2020
Yvonne passed away peacefully on June 20, 2020 at the Lake of the Woods District hospital with family at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry Rumpel and longtime love and companion Wally Barber. Her parents Jean-Marie Gagnon and Marie Rose Gagnon (nee Normand), stepmother Marie Louise Gagnon (nee Normand), siblings Gerry (Lee) Gagnon, Cecile (Philip) Pilon, Mary Jane (Elie) Normand, Louise (Laurent) and Albert Gagnon, daughter Irene Iverson, daughter-in-law Faith LaBelle, grandchildren Conrad Philip Rumpel and Cory Patrick Rumpel, as well as many close and dear friends.
She is survived by sister Florence Saltel of Winnipeg, MB, brother-in-law Laurent Bourgeois (Louise Gagnon) of Duncan, BC. She is lovingly remembered by her children Joseph (Alice) of Calgary, AB, Phil (Judy) of Steinbach, MB, son-in-law Ralph Iverson (Irene) of Kenora, ON, Carol Ann Marsh (Leslie) of Winnipegosis, MB, Ron (Shirley) of Kenora, ON, Wes (Sue) of Petawawa, ON, Yvonne Green (Harry) of Keewatin, ON, Walter (Rosanna) of Thunder Bay, ON, Ida Barnes (Craig), of Calgary, AB, Sharon King (Stephen) of Port Alberni, BC, Gary (Ellie) of Kenora, ON and Errol Frowen (Shaune Marie) of Thunder Bay, ON, she is also lovingly remembered by NUMEROUS grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with Pastor David McDonald officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when the restrictions are lifted from COVID-19 and large gatherings are permitted.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ma's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. At this time the family is asking that there be no donation's of food, snacks or cards due to COVID-19 restrictions.
