

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Armando Valencia, who left this world on March 9, 2026, at his home in Chowchilla, California, surrounded by his loving family. Armando was born on October 18, 1975. He was a proud graduate of Kerman High School and worked in maintenance at Liberty Charter School in Madera, California, where he was known for his dedication and friendly spirit.
Armando is survived by his parents, Irene and Oscar Loya; his children, Rita, Rene, Thomas, and Richie; and his bonus children, Miranda and Julian. He was a proud and loving grandfather to his grandsons, Aidyn, EZ, and Benji. He also leaves behind his beloved partner, Gabi, as well as his four siblings and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Armando loved fishing and could always be found looking for the next place to cast his line. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was always ready with a joke, and had a way of making friends wherever he went.
Above all else, Armando cherished being “Papa” to his grandsons. They were the light of his life and brought him endless joy.
Armando will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Visitation will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15437 W Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630, on March 26, 2026, at 9:00 am, followed by the Rosary at 10:00 am and Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Ybarra, Greg "Balvina" Valdivia, Anthony Espinoza, Juan Zarate, Tony Valencia, and Oscar Loya Jr.
