Jose Luis Ramos, a beloved resident of Kerman, California, passed away on November 18, 2025. Jose, was the oldest of 14 brothers and sisters. At just 14 years old, he left Mexico in search of a better life, carrying a strength and determination far beyond his age. He worked with Jean Hardy Farms for over 40 years, a hardworking man who always kept his hands moving and his spirit steady. He loved sitting in his garage, watching the world outside, enjoying the peace of simple moments. Before he got sick, he liked to drink, laugh, and spend time with friends and family — those were the moments that brought him joy.
He passed away peacefully at his home in Kerman, surrounded by love ones. He is survived by his wife, Emma, his three children — Margarita Ramos, Jose L. Ramos Jr., and Oscar Ramos — and his grandchildren: Sayra Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Mireya Sanchez, Isaiah Ramos, Jovanne Ramos, Aaliyah Ramos, Angie Ramos, and Serenity Ramos. Though he wasn’t always expressive, he cherished the time he spent with family, and those quiet moments with him are the ones we’ll hold onto forever.
"Jose Luis will be dearly missed by all who knew him."
