Those who knew Ramiro will remember a man whose presence put others at ease—warm in conversation, openhearted in spirit, and genuinely glad to be among people. A true free spirit, he moved through life with an easy friendliness and a social nature that drew others close, and it was no surprise that he had many friends who valued his steady companionship.
Ramiro was also known for the practical care he offered so naturally. A skilled handyman, he helped many residences of Mendota with home projects, giving his time and effort in ways that made daily life easier for others. His generosity was not performative; it was simply who he was—sweet, kindhearted, and willing to give without hesitation, the sort of person who would give his shirt off his back if someone needed it.
Above all, Ramiro loved to spend time with his family and friends, and that devotion—quiet, consistent, and sincere—remains a lasting part of his legacy.
Ramiro is survived by his mother, Guadalupe "Lupe" Bautista; his brothers, Luis Bautista, Marcelo Bautista, Agustin Bautista, Larry Bautista, and Raul Bautista; and his sister, Teresa Coronado. He was preceded in death by his father, Lazaro Bautista. Ramiro also leaves behind his many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life for Ramiro will be held on a future date.
