Rachel will be remembered as a beloved presence whose compassion was felt most deeply in the quiet, steady ways she cared for those closest to her. A true homebody at heart, she found comfort and meaning in the warmth of home, where simple moments became lasting memories.
With devoted love, Rachel dedicated her life to her husband, Jimmy Garcia, and her days were shaped by the closeness of family—time spent together, shared meals, and the familiar joy of family gatherings. She also cherished her cats, her “fur babies,” who were a constant source of comfort and affection in her home.
Rachel is survived by her spouse, Jimmy Garcia of 50 years; her brother, Rafael Montalvo; her sister, Marylou Carrillo; and her brother, Frank Montalvo and brother Ricardo Montalvo. She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Montalvo; her mother, Maria Montalvo; her sister, Minnie Montalvo; and her brother, Ramon Montalvo and her brother Raul Sergio Montalvo. Rachel also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Rachel will be dearly missed by all her knew her.
