My Hick Family,

I’m proud to have been able to know Rich. He took me under his wing as a youngin when I first moved to Kerman. I’ll always remember playing on his little league baseball team. Of course, being the new Chris on the team, Coach Rich had not only the team, but the whole town calling me Didway before the week was over. I even met strangers who thought Didway was my first name. Years later in high school I always had a place to crash thanks to Rich and the family; it was never a question as to whether or not I could stay. I’ll definitely never forget the countless good times we had together. I still can’t be home during this time, but I hope that you all know I’m supporting you, and when I get out of here I’ll be around to visit you all and Rich.

Much love,
Didway

My uncle was such an important person to me. To me he was more than my uncle, he symbolized family and a piece of my mom. He welcomed me into his life from the moment he knew about me and never looked back. He taught me about family. I will always be grateful to him for loving his fault the way he did/does. I love you uncle rich and I know you are with my mom celebrating meeting each other ❤❤❤
