

Andrew “Drew” Browning, 38, of Kimball, died at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Mel Daves officiating. Graveside services will be held in Crossett, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Kimball. Memorials may be given to the family. The services have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Andrew Edward Browning was born in Monroe, Louisiana on June 4, 1974, the son of Edwin and Sharon (Copeland) Browning. He was raised and attended school in Crossett, Arkansas and graduated from high school in 1992. Drew enlisted in the US Army in 1992 and was actively serving his country through the Army National Guard at the time of his death. While in the service, Drew was deployed to Bosnia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and his last deployment was to Afghanistan. During his youth he worked with his grandfather as a carpenter building homes for many families, a career which continued throughout his life. Drew loved to help family and friends, and was always available to help in a time of need. He also worked at many hardware stores throughout his life. He was married to Denice Allison in Crossett, Arkansas on March 3, 2000. They moved to Kimball in 2001. Drew loved fishing and working on his truck, taking his dogs to the lake, cooking on his Traeger grill and being with family and friends. He will be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife Denice Browning of Kimball; sons Edwin Andrew Browning of Crossett, AR; Austin Allison of Kimball, NE; daughter Megan Browning of Kimball, NE; mother Sharon Henderson of Crossett, AR; father Edwin Browning of Crossett, AR; mother and father-in-law, David and Judy Allison of Dix, NE., and brother-in-law Mike Allison of Gillette, WY. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
