Becky Baldwin, 54, of Kimball, died at UC Health in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Kimball with Pastor Robert Degg officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Kimball Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. following the service. Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com to view her tribute wall and share condolences and stories with the family. Memorials may be given in her memory to the family, for a designation later. The cremation service for Becky has been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Becky Sue Baldwin was born in Kimball, Nebraska on February 22, 1972, the daughter of Rod and Edna (Buddecke) Baldwin. She attended and graduated from Kimball High School with the class of 1990. She pursued further studies in Minnesota and then North Platte, Nebraska.
Over the years, Becky worked at Walmart, cooked at the Holiday Inn Restaurant in Kimball, and worked with Castronics also in Kimball. She also drove trucks for Swift Transportation for over 2 years. Earning recognition as an outstanding driver. In later years, she worked for the Office of Human Development in Sidney, Nebraska, served as a manager at Domino’s Pizza, and worked as a medical courier.
She loved traveling, especially to Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Texas, and beyond. An avid bowler, she looked forward to the Nebraska State Bowling Tournament each year. She learned to bowl from Bernie Buresh, whose instruction fostered her passion for the game. Becky also enjoyed playing pool, cheering on her Minnesota Vikings, creating cross-stitch art, and playing World of Warcraft.
Becky will be remembered for her hardworking nature, adventurous spirit, and the many friendships she made through her work, travels, and hobbies.
She is survived by her father Rod Baldwin of Kimball, NE; brother Melvin (Ann) Baldwin of Alliance; and sisters Tonia Copeland of Moorehead, IA and Sonia Baldwin of Kimball, NE; numerous nieces and nephews and close friends Jodie Orr and Bob and Marcia Townsend. She was preceded in death by her mother Edna Baldwin, nephew Matthew Baldwin, maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
