

Delores A. King, 57, of Kimball, died at her home in Kimball on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Cremation has been held and memorial services will be held at a later date. Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com so share condolences and stories with the family. Memorials may be given to the family’s choice. The services for Delores have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Delores Ann King was born in Denver, Colorado on September 25, 1969, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Muller) Miller. Delores attended Douglas County High School and graduated in 1987. Following graduation, she worked for her father in his Timber business and on their farm. She married Ron King in Castle Rock, Colorado on September 22, 1988. The family lived in Douglas and Elbert Counties and Delores and her mother ran a cleaning business, cleaning homes for many of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche players. Delores and Ron moved to Bridgeport so Ron could work on his grandfather’s farm. Delores worked for Baumgaars Farm and Ranch store. They moved to Kimball in 2015 and Delores started working for GRI in 2021 and was still working there at the time of her death. She loved cooking and baking, reading books and gardening. Her family and friends were important to her and loved spending time with them making memories. She enjoyed her two dogs Reba and Bella. Delores was a WONDERFUL wife, mom and nana.
Survivors include her mother Mary Miller of Lyman, NE; her husband Ron King of Kimball, NE; sons Robert Miller-King of Denver, CO., and Blaine Miller-King of Kimball, NE, sisters Debbie, Brenda, LaVonne and Naomi; granddaughter Ashlynn, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends Troy and Sandra Spraker and Tammy Flores. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Miller on April 16, 2026, and brother Raymond Hurt.
