There was never a formal introduction between Tom and myself, but we did get to know each other after the games. Living in Holyoke, CO 110 miles from Kimball, I always went straight to the sports section when The Western Nebraska Observer would arrive in our mailbox. To read "Jock Talk" made me feel like I was setting next to Tom after a ball game, golf tournament, wrestling, volleyball, track meet or at South Dakota State University following Mike Daum. When Kinnie and Michael called us to tell us the news of Tom's death, I felt I had lost a very close friend. Praise God for what Tom did for Kimball and Prayers for Karen and the family.

Tom was always such a fun and positive person to see at Kimball High School games. I always enjoyed his stories of former games, players and moments when I made trips to Kimball for a broadcast. He will be deeply missed by many; a wonderful person who always made game day at KHS so enjoyable to be a part of.
