Virginia (Ginni) lovingly known as "Mops" to many, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 24, 1945, in Algona, lowa, Virginia lived a life centered on love, family, and simple joys. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 2, 2025 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball. Friends may visit www.cantrellfh.com to share stories and condolences with the family. She was preceded in death by her Daughter Cindy Barkell., and her beloved husband, George Baber, with whom she shared a lifetime of love.

Virginia is survived by her devoted children: Julie Dunivent, Jodie (Tom) Grady, Jacque (Wade) Warren, Jennifer Radford, Jane (Steve) Pope, Dennis (Susan) Barkell, Jeff (Stacey) Barkell, and George Baber III. She was a proud and loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

She spent her early years in Algona, lowa, raised her children in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and enjoyed her later years in Kimball, Nebraska, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Virginia had a passion for crocheting and delighted in creating handmade treasures that will be cherished for generations. But above all else, her greatest joy and purpose in life was her family. Her door-and her heart-were always open.

Virginia's memory will be forever treasured by those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
