Werner was the best big brother any girl could have asked for. You were my sitter and best friend. You tried to tutor me in math with little success....not your fault. Your love extended to Hugo when we married. God took you home and has left a void in our family. We are thankful for the memories of a great brother, husband, father, grandpa and faithful servant of your Lord. Rest in the arms of Jesus. Till we meet again, Love,
Brenda (Anderson) and Hugo.

Dear Werner,
I feel it was a blessing that our families moved into Mill Grove at the same time. Brenda became my best friend (God bless her soul) and the rest is history. After my parents passed you and Barbara were there for me. I've always thought of you both as my second parents. I'm going to miss your puns and you asking me, "How's it going down there in Flori-dah? You always brought a smile to my face. You were one of a kind Werner and don't worry about Jeanne and Bob, I'll keep an eye on them for you. May you rest in peace. Will miss you always!

Love Cindy

Dear Werner,

You & Barbara will always hold a very special place in the Valley View story. Thanks for all you did to provide the Sunnyside property as our church home. You were a great encourager and example of what it means to follow Jesus for a lifetime. We're so glad we saw you one last time Christmas caroling for you and Jeanne at Shannondell Rehab just ten days before you passed into the presence of the Lord. There's no doubt you are celebrating a happy new year with Jesus and your beloved Barbara. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I just want to say thank you for the love and friendship you shared with me after I lost my dear friend and your daughter Brenda. In your grief you were kind enough to help me. You and Barbara were the sweetest people I've ever known. You treated me with such kindness... helped Tom and I when we bought our house and when I was sick carrying my son. I thank you for sharing your love. I am happy you are with your sweet daughter and beautiful wife Barbara. There is joy in heaven. Thanks for being a friend. Love, Nancy ❤
