Bernadine Bartolino

Bernadine married Arnold Bartolino on October 16, 1948, and together they raised six children. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and was an exceptional baker and cook. She was a very loving and kind woman, welcoming everyone into her home, where there was always an extra place at the table. Bernadine loved to play scrabble and she taught all of her grandchildren how to play poker. In retirement Arnold and Bernadine took their motor home to 49 of the 50 states and wintered in Dade City FL.

Bernadine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Arnold, children Michael (Linda) Bartolino, Cathy (Larry) Chandonais, Vickie Bartolino, Janice (Joseph) Jones, Frank (Diana) Bartolino, Mary Frances (Vincent) Litchfield, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and beloved dog Webster.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 4 to 8pm at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City, with a scripture service at 7pm. Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10am, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Mary's Hannah Catholic Church in Kingsley.
