Rest in Peace Blaine, you were a great colleague and friend. I have fond memories of the fun times together both at work and after. We were always laughing when we weren't arguing. You will be dearly missed.

My Very Dear Friend, Blaine, my heart is broken. I had the great honor to work with you at Jabil, where you remain truly loved, appreciated, and revered for the knowledge you so eagerly shared. In fact, winning Jabil's highest honor in 2011... Deliver Best Practices Grand Champion!! How awesome is that!!
I also had the pleasure of traveling with you throughout Asia... spending so many evenings talking about our families. Your love for Jenny was so obvious you could not mention her name without having a huge smile on your face... and always a ready photo of her in your wallet, your favorite being of Jenny in her traditional Chinese dress! Your children were definitely your pride and joy... All five :-)
As much as I am thankful for all of the laughter, I am mostly thankful for all of the tears we shared and the guidance you offered as I tried to help my Marine son, Blaise, through his PTSD, having just returned from Afghanistan. Your advice... to simply be there for him daily to listen and let him know how very much he is loved. Blaine (the 3rd), that very painful time for you was absolutely heartbreaking for your Dad and yet he told me he would not have traded those days for anything in this world as they meant more to him than you will ever know... a son, during his darkest hours, reaching out to his father was the greatest gift you ever gave him... a gift that humbled him deeply and one he cherished immensely. I will miss your father forever because he was that caliber of man.
I wish you all peace of mind and heart as he loved each member of his family so very much and was never shy about saying so and with great pride!
