Briar Christopher Shannon

Briar Christopher Shannon passed away on September 6th, 2020. Briar was born on June 28, 2019. Briar was born into a loving home, along side his twin brother Henrik. Though his time with his family was short, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around him.

Briar’s family cherishes his memory, although his life was short, everyone knew Briar was a gift to the Shannon family and he always stood apart with his relaxed and happy disposition. Briar’s positive attitude and contagious smile will live on in the hearts of his family. Briar is survived by his parents, Mathew and Alisha Shannon, two brothers Emmett and Henrik, as well as his sister Arianna. The family is hosting a viewing on September 13, 2020 at the Tabernacle in Buckley, MI from 4pm until 7pm. Additionally, there will be a funeral service on September 14, 2020 at Turtle Creek Stadium at 12pm until 3pm.

The family will accept flowers through Covell funeral home in Traverse City. The address for flowers is 232 E State Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. The viewing will be held at The Tabernacle, 315 E Wexford Ave, Buckley, MI 49620. The funeral will be held at Turtle Creek Stadium, 333 Stadium Drive, Traverse City, MI 49685
