Passed away on December 14, 2020 at Munson Medical Center at the age of 80. She was the daughter of Stanley and Lillian (Winowiecki) Stefaniak and was born on August 22, 1940 in Traverse City. Cecilia was a graduate of St. Francis high school. While in her senior year, through family and friends, she met the love of her life, Theodore (Ted) Weber, and were married on August 18, 1962 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Together they had three children, Lisa, Steven, and Jennifer. She worked at R.L. Polk Company for a few years after graduation, but mainly was a devoted house wife and loving mother.
In her early years, she enjoyed putting on large family dinners, working in her garden, and helping her husband with their farm. Later on in her middle years, she was diagnosed with Addison’s disease, but she never let her limitations stop her from being as independent as possible. “If there’s a will, there’s a way” she would say, and everyone admired her for that. She was an inspiration to everyone. Cecilia was very deep into her faith with God, and lived her life in that way, never having a bad word to say about anyone. Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her, would always say what a sweet lady she was, and remembers her warm beautiful smile that would light up a room. She will be greatly missed not only by her family but, anyone she ever had an impact on.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Lillian Stefaniak, her son Steven, her husband Ted, as well as her brothers Stanley Jr., Jerome, Donald, and Robert (Bob) Stefaniak. She leaves behind her daughters Lisa (Scott) Bishop, Jennifer (Dan) Youker. Her grandchildren Andrew (Ashley) Weber, Christopher (Emily) Weber, Brandon Weber, Dustin (Sarah) Weber, Travis Bishop, Kevin Bishop, as well as her great grandchildren McKenzie and Madison Weber. She also leaves behind her two sisters Carol (Alvin) Ance and Mary (John) Rokos, and many relatives.
