I worked with gary for many years. Gary always helped everyone, he could build or fix anything and freely helped so many people including myself. He never asked for anything in return. He had his quirks but was a great man and a great friend.

I am a nurse who cared for Garry. He was a funny man. Told me , " Garry with two R' s G A R R Y" 🤣 He loved to tell stories of his motorcycle that he put a Harley Davidson Ferring on it and a " Bald Biker " story. He loved word searches and would spell the words out loud as he found them on the page. I will miss him. 🧡

I met Garry in his later years while I was working as a nurse aide in Belding. I cared for him for almost 2 yrs, and have often thought about him the last couple years since I've changed employment. He was a tender, intelligent, and silly man! He loved to write and read, listen to music and dance, along with some occasional mischief to keep staff on their toes! He tugged the heart strings of many and will always be remembered by those that truly loved him. May he rest in peace.

I was one of Garry's many caregivers over his last few years, as a CNA, nurse and Clinical Care Coordinator. I can only pray that I met not only his needs, but the needs of his family. It was a great privilege to know him. May the family have peace in their hearts knowing he is once again Garry in the Lord's presence.
