John “Jack” Weber, 74, of Grawn, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at his home. Jack was born on March 2, 1944 on the family farm. He was the son of John J. and Mildred J. Weber. At the Kingsley Baptist Church, on September 26, 1964, Jack married Juanita Morgan.
He retired from the Grand Traverse County Road Commission. Jack loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on cars.
Jack is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Juanita Weber, his daughter; Jacquelyn (Ken) Davis of Grawn, His son; John J.(Amy) Weber of Greenville SC, (2) grandsons; Cole and Nathaniel Weber, (2) granddaughters; Kelsey and Breanna Weber, his sister; Penny (Dave) Bliss of West Branch, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son James Weber, (3) sisters; Elizabeth Thaxton, Shirley Gamache, and Yvonnie Allen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 29, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at the Covell Funeral Home Kingsley. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 30, 2018 at 1pm with visitation at noon, also at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. Pastor Tim Jahn will officiate. Private family burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
