Aleshia Faye Trivett, age 17 of Kingsport, left her earthly life and entered into the arms of her Heavenly Father during the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
Aleshia was born to the late Mr. Robert Trivett and Mrs. Melissa Trivett on July 26, 1998 in Kingsport, TN. Though her time on earth was short, she lived her life and enjoyed her family and friends; every minute of every day.
Aleshia was a senior at Central High School where she was involved with working with special education students. She planned to continue her education by going to medical school to become an Anesthesiologist. She was a free-spirited, fun loving individual who loved hiking, snowboarding, and watching dirt-bike racing.
Aleshia was preceded in death by her father, Robert Trivett. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Melissa Trivett; sister, Ashley Trivett; four uncles and three aunts; Bobby and Tonya Gail Collins of Nickelsville, VA, Wesley Taylor of Nickelsville, VA; Donnie and Deanna Sluss of Kingsport, TN and “Bo” Mark and Kendra Taylor of Gate City, VA; and a hosts of cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. immediately following visitation in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Joey Chapman, Jeffrey Hughes, Donald Sluss, Caleb Shaffer, John Hall, and Daniel Sluss.
There will be a private family burial on Monday, February 22, 2016.
