In addition to her parents; David Joseph Schultz and Pauline Rothman Schultz, Ms. Berman is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Berman.
Arlene obtained her Doctorate in Nursing and was a Public Health Nurse. She taught at numerous universities including; Mercy College in Detroit, Michigan, LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Left to cherish her memory; her sons, Dr. William Berman of Jonesborough, Tennessee, Paul Berman of Detroit, Michigan; her daughters, Cheryl Beaver of Mandeville, Louisiana and Sari Berman of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Rebekah Polofsky, Benjamin Berman, Sarah Berman, Nolan Berman and Jessica Beaver; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Sophie Polofsky.
There will be no services at this time per Ms. Berman's request.
