I have many memories of this precious Christian lady who was faithful to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her church and her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a call to prayer. It was my priviledge to be her Pastor for a time and it was an honor to call her friend.

I hated to hear of "Mama" Rose (as I called her) going home to be with our Lord. I loved talking, laughing amd joking with her. I would always ask her to " come sing in the choir" with us. She would smile and say, "if you really want me to" She is singing in Heaven now and the rest of us will be there soon. Praying for the family, we know where she is we just can't see her right now but we will.

So sorry to hear of Sister Rose‘s passing. I truly enjoyed the time we shared together at Emmanuel Baptist. She was truly a godly lady and a very special friend. I am sure she is rejoicing now in heaven. May God comfort the family as only He can.
