Betty Stewart Stanley Begley

Betty Stanley Begley, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at her residence. She was born on May 9, 1930 in Mabe, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Stanley and Myrtle Lark Stanley. Ms. Begley was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Begley was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie O. Begley; great-grandson, Austin Smith; brothers, John Clinton Stanley, Marion Stanley and sister, Marie Hammond. Survivors include; one son, Gerold Begley and wife Glenna, two daughters, Patricia Bunch and husband Larry, Laura Ramey and husband Kenny; grandchildren, Luke Millsap, Tim Begley, Pamala Smith, Tony Click, Charlie Click, Jared Bunch; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Charlotte Hartgrove, Hazel Hudson, and Pastor Dan Theiben. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home and at the home of her children at any time. Funeral Services for Ms. Betty Stanley Begley will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 7:00pm in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Bryan Orchard and Pastor Joe Hill officiating. Graveside service will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00am at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd Kingsport, TN 37664. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Begley. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1665 Allison Road, Piney Flats, Tennessee 37686.
