Betty and I became friends in the 60’s when Fred and Daryl were in the Army and Army Reserves together. I have many good memories of fun times with Betty and Fred, from playing Rook to the guys’ escapades while remodeling their house to building and wrecking a mini bike.
Betty had the most beautiful smile and such a loving heart. She was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. She dearly loved each one of her family. I hope your happy memories help to comfort you in your loss.

My dog Toby is a pet therapy dog at NHC and we just loved visiting with Miss Betty! She would always light up to see him and gave him many belly rugs. She always had a smile and a great attitude. We will remember her fondly. Truly it is heaven’s gain.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Betty. She & I met while working together @ McCrory's & Nettie Lee Dress Shop in downtown Kingsport many years ago. Even though our lives led us in different directions & we did not see each other much, we always stayed good friends. When we did get to see each other, it was as if we had never been apart. I will always cherish her friendship & the many good times we had together. My thoughts & prayers are with her family. I pray the Lord will comfort the family with His amazing grace & give each one sweet memories of a beautiful woman of God.

When we were younger we shared many secrets about our boyfriends! But I can’t be sad for her , because can you just close your eyes and see that joyous reunion she is having right now!🙌🏻She is with Jesus,Fred, and all her family! This has been such a difficult time for all the family. First Sweet Alvin and just 12 days later Betty! May God Give the family the Comfort and Strength that Only HE can! I love you Betty!
