Betty A. Quesenberry

Betty A. Quesenberry, age 63 of Church Hill, accepted her Savior’s gift of eternal peace during the early morning hours on December 22, 2015. Betty was born to the late James H. Ray and Mrs. Margaret Southerland Ray on June 8, 1952 in Kingsport, TN. On March 3, 1960, Betty married her best friend and love of her life, Mr. Jerry W. Quesenberry and after 37 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in 2006.

Betty found solace in spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. She will be remembered as a woman who loved all mankind and nature. Her kindness and loving memories will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew her.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband; her father; one nephew, Mark Ray; and one brother, Robert Ray. Left to carry on her legacy are her three sons, Brad Quesenberry and wife Kristie, Brian Quesenberry, and Steven Quesenbery and wife Robbyn; her mother, Margaret Ray; seven grandchildren, Victoria, Sierra, Alexandria, Steven, Nathan, Esperanza, and Kayden; one great grandson, Jayden; one honorary son, Steven Ball; and two brothers, Dean Ray and James Roy Ray.

Funeral services for Betty Quesenberry will be on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Roy Tucker officiating. Burial will immediately follow after the funeral service in the Garden of Christus of East Lawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.eastlawnkingsport.com.
