Billy Ray Mullins

Billy Ray Mullins, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Mullins was born on May 1, 1932 in Pound, Virginia the son of the late Everett and Kate Mullins. He retired from the United States Air Force having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Mullins; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his son, Randy Mullins and fiancé Lisa, of Blountville, TN; one grandson, Shawn Mullins; one sister-in-law, Marie Mullins, of Blountville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Ray Mullins will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 1:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Gillenwater and Reverend Marvin Egan officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life III of East Lawn Memorial Park with military honors to be rendered by the American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265.
