He was born in Kingsport TN to Donald Clay Ellison and the late Linda Ann Ellison.
Brent graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1989. He then attended Virginia Tech University where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and later earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. After graduation, Brent moved to Houston Texas. He moved back to Kingsport in 2009.
He most recently worked for Eastman Chemical Company as an IT professional.
Survivors include his dad, Donald Ellison, his sisters, Leslie Ellison May, Lauren Ellison Hicks and brother, Brandon Ellison.
Due to COVID, services will be private to the family.
