Bruce Edward Price, age 72, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Quality Rehabilitation Center. Bruce entered the world on September 19, 1953, in Kingsport, TN, the cherished son of the late Harold Edward Price and Nell Jane Sturgill Price. As he grew up, Bruce's interests flourished, leading him to pursue a career in television broadcasting. He became a TV Broadcasting Producer for Holston Valley - WKPT, where he skillfully crafted engaging content that resonated with viewers. A passionate sports fanatic, Bruce devoted much of his enthusiasm to Braves baseball. Music was another cornerstone of Bruce's life. He was an esteemed collector of vinyl records, amassing an impressive collection. Among his most treasured albums were those of “The Beatles.” Bruce took great joy in tending to his flower gardens and had a passion for food. Above all, Bruce cherished the time he spent with his family. Whether it was sharing laughter over meals, reminiscing about old memories, or creating new ones. Bruce's legacy is a testament to a life well-lived, rich in passion, love, and cherished relationships.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Linda Kay Simpson Price and Lois Trent Bring.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Joel Price and wife Ashlee; brother Ray Price (Charlotte); sister Betty Carroll (Tom); nephew Robert Price (Brooke); nephew Michael Price (Heather); nephew Jonathan Price (Cassie); niece Kristi Fennell (Hoss); niece Pam Bledsoe (Shawn); grandniece Savannah Spears (Corey); grandnephew Kevin Price; grandnephew Tyler Bridges; the grand dog Puck Price; and friends who loved him dearly.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the dedicated caregivers who have provided unwavering compassion, care, and support over the past six years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jody Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Prayer.
