She was born September 7, 1940, in Hanover, West Virginia to the late Tom Kent and Flossie Trent Cline. Brytha retired after a career of over 25 years as a barber. Brytha adored her daughters, and both would tell anyone that she was “the best mother two girls could ever have.” Above all, Brytha loved her Lord and Savior and was known by many to be a fierce prayer warrior who would drop whatever she was doing and pray for those who were hurting or in need. She was a member of Believers Church in Kingsport where her presence will be missed, but her testimony will remain and serve as an example to others.
In addition to her parents, Brytha was preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Lee; daughter, Susan Renee Gray; grandson, John Ethan Gray, and eight brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Cheryl Lee and one sister, Frances Tomasini; adopted family, Mitch McConnell, Lexi McConnell, Corey Sensabaugh, and Bethany Frantzen. Brytha is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and her church family who meant so much to her.
Cheryl would like to express her heartfelt appreciation to Brytha’s adopted family for loving and caring for Brytha during her final years and for their caring support in the solemn days after Brytha’s passing.
