One of my favorite teachers I have ever had. You saw the good in everything and treated us like your very own kids. I miss you more and more every day but I will see you again! I was so blessed to have you twice. Even with the year cut short you always look at the bright side. I love you so much 

Caitlin, you are the most beautiful examples of strength, grace and positivity. I remember my first day at Holston, you greeted me with a smile that held the warmth of an old friend. I know you will be missed often, but certainly never forgotten! Sending love and healing prayers to your family. I know you will be smiling down on all of us from your mansion in the sky! 

“What though the radiance that was once so bright, be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.” If LOVED would have saved thee , though would have never died. All how you were loved by so many and especially your family ...I know you are rejoicing with Betty and Herman and so many more. I know David and the girls will be fine and love and the power of God is the key.....

Words can not express how much she means to me and my family.  She was a timeless treasure and heart of gold.  My son was coached my David and we got the pleasure to know this beautiful soul because of that.  She was a warrior, and such a fighter.  She will be missed greatly and we will continue to pray and keep David, girls and family in our prayers.  Aydan said she was his favorite fan and will miss her so much.   Love you Mrs. BALL.  

Caitlin told me many times that Holston was her happy place, and she certainly made it a happy place for us.  I admired her courage and strength so much. She and David fought this battle with such a positive spirit and grace. Caitlin touched many lives at school and beyond.  May Jesus wrap your family in comfort and peace. ❤️ 

Teaching with Caitlin brought me so much joy, but the friendship we formed through those years has become one of my greatest blessings! I was always known as “Scragglet,” and I will forever cherish that name she gave me. 
Rest easy sweet friend, this is not goodbye, only see you soon!

She was a very nice to everyone in school and a good friend. 

I taught kindergarten with Caitlin. I will never forget the way she marched right in with more confidence than I have ever seen in a new teacher. We worked together for five years. We laughed, we cried,  we prayed and we had a ball together. We both had our first babies while working together. It was such a joy to watch Caitlin grow as a teacher and a mother. Her greatesr desire was to have a family.  She was devoted to David and the girls and one of the most determined people I have ever known. Being a small part of her journey is one of the greatest blessings I have ever known.  I am looking forward to the day we meet in heaven, fully restored! Praying for the family!

From my first day working at Holston, she became my dear friend. Our love for Tennessee football was our first conversation! Both my boys had the pleasure of having Caitlin for Kindergarten and then again in 5th grade. Caitlin and her family became more than just friends. My boys played football under Coach David Ball which also blended us all as a sports family. They treat my boys as if they are their own. There are no words to say how much she is loved, or words to say how much she will be missed. She was the most proud of her husband and her beautiful baby girls. Caitlin….I love you BIG and will miss your gorgeous smile. But I know it will live on in your precious girls. Rest easy sweet friend🧡

It was my pleasure to be Paislee’s helper on a few occasions. Caitlin was the most devoted mother. She always wanted to know how Paislee’s day was going, spent time heating her lunch, checking in on how a test went, or just peeking in for one more hug. I’ll miss simply passing Caitlin (Ball is what I always called her) in the hall and hearing her voice say “Faidley” and seeing that big smile on her face when I turn. Last week I walked Paislee in and she said it just like her momma when I greeted her and it made my heart smile. Ball will me so missed and was loved more than she will ever know.

Caitlin was one of the sweetest you ever meet.  She married my cousin David.  Their love journey was the best, from high-school up.  My heart hurts so bad for David and those beautiful babies.  Just remember David she won this battle.  The best victory!  

Dear Mark and Family.  You all are in our prayers and thoughts.  We wish there was something we could say or do which would bring comfort to you. I substituted for Caitlin a few times. She loved her 5th grade kiddos as well as her precious family. She told me that 5th grade was the right spot for her! She will be missed by family ,faculty and staff,  and all the children whose lives she touched.  There are no words to express  how much she will be missed. Prayers and hugs for her family.

My heart goes out to the families of Caitlin. She was always so kind to me. It was a blessing to watch her grow at Blountville Elementary and Middle then have a passion for teaching.  Prayers for her sweet girls and husband. 😢

Mrs. Ball taught kindergarten when my daughter was in Mrs. Moriarty’s class. I was a homeroom mom so I was able to get to know her. Her strength and courage was amazing. She will be truly missed. Praying for David and the girls. 

Caitlin was an active, vivacious woman, runner, mother, friend, and teacher. She had an amazing spirit. Every time we met, regardless of how long it had been (a day, a week, a year), she engaged fully and shared her up close story. She loved her family fiercely. Caitlin is loved here on earth and most definitely in heaven. 

My son Joel had Caitlin as a teacher at Holston Elementary. He prayed for her a lot while she was sick and would ask me often if there were any updates. We are praying for your family!

Never forget out time in 5th grade. We had so many good times, clogging to Rocky Top in back of the room, trips to Dollywood when the defroster on the bus wasn't working and it poured the rain, when you would come and sneak candy from my treat box, so many can't name. Love you Ball and will see you again.

From elementary school basketball for my oldest grandsons who are 18 and 19 now to the best homeroom teacher last year for my now 11 year old grandson and simply being Catlin and not only giving me but also meeting me with one  when I posted that I needed a highchair a couple years ago . David, Catlin and their precious girls will always have a special place in my heart.  You don't meet such genuine caring people to often in this world and I know she is getting her reward in Heaven.  Please know if there is anything my family can do for you or the girls do not hesitate to call.

Caitlin was the most brightest and happiest woman I knew. She didn’t let anything slow her down! I loved how much we could just laugh together and there was never a dull moment with Caitlin. She always put a smile on my face. I hope I did the same for her! I wish she had much more time here with us, but God knew for whatever reason it was time! I am going to miss her until I am able to reunite with her again. My condolences to her Husband David, her daughters, her parents, and family. 

Caitlin was precious.  She was always kind to me, and one of the very first people i talked to when i started at Holston.  She will be so greatly missed. 

I knew Caitlin casually, but know how much she loved her family. I am sincerely sorry for your loss. 

Caitlin and I went to middle school together and I just always remember her being so happy and bubbly. She was such a beautiful soul. She was definitely one of a kind and had the best personality.

There is no words to explain how deeply sorry I am. I went to school with Caitlin at Blountville Middle School. She was one of the sweetest people I have met with a heart of gold. Her personality could light up the room. She is truly going to be missed. When I heard the news about Caitlin it literally broke my heart. But she is in a better place where there's no pain or sorrow. My love & prayers go out to her family. 

Caitlin is married to my cousin David. And oh what a love story they share. She brought him so much joy and happiness and blessed their lives with two beautiful little girls. Caitlin and David were a match made in heaven and shared a love like no other. May God cover your family in peace and comfort. Caitlin will forever be remembered. She is now a beautiful angel dancing with Jesus. 

The first time I met Caitlin she was a college student studying to become a teacher, a few years later I ran into her at a Zumba class and she had just graduated. I had the privilege to work with her and watch her become established in her career as a teacher and become a wife and mother. She was such a spunky ray of light, so real and honest, and a lot of fun to be around. Her smiling face and loving heart will be missed until we see her again. Love and prayers to her family. 

Our grandsons,  Brady and Peyton, were blessed to have Caitlin as a teacher at Holston.
