Carolyn S. Beeney

Carolyn Sue Beeney, age 60, of Kingsport, entered into rest on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Wexford House. Ms. Beeney was a native of Delaware County, Ohio, and had moved to the Kingsport area in 2005. She was the daughter of the late Don and Ruby Beeney. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Trevor Beeney and her brother-in-law, Jeff Crump. Ms. Beeney attended Good Sheppard Baptist Church. She loved to sing and enjoyed crafts, especially making pot holders for her sister and friends. Survivors include: sisters: Pat Crump, her primary caregiver and Phyllis Wood and husband, Jake; brothers: Lynn Beeney and wife Susan and Joe Beeney and wife Del; along with several nieces and nephews and a multitude of cherished friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Beeney will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Fletcher and Pastor Eddie Zimmerman, officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Marion Cemetery, in Marion, Ohio. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m. for the service. Flowers are welcomed, but for those who prefer, memorial contributions may be made to Good Sheppard Baptist Church, 459 Old Beason Well Road, Kingsport, Tennessee, 37660. I loved Sue dearly. She was one of my favorite people that I met while volunteering with Amedisys. I will miss her sweet smile so much.
