Dear Sue and family,
Too many years go by when someone, like Charlie passes, that you realize and appreciate what a person does for you at the start of your career. I was assigned to his lab when I joined "E" in 1968. He was an early mentor and I thank him for that.

Dear Sue: The news of Charlie's passing makes me very sad. He was my first supervisor at Eastman (1961) and friend. I always had great respect for him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
