Charles Rex Gardner, age 70, of Kingsport, Tennessee went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, June 25, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. at Holston Manor. Mr. Gardner was a Greeneville, TN native and the son of the late Charlie Brook Gardner and Bessie Morelock Marshall. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard L. Gardner; grandparents and brother in law Randy Hilton. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles is survived by his sister, Bette Hilton; aunts, uncles, and oodles of cousins. His wishes were for graveside services at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Zion Cemetery in Baileyton, TN with Robert Fleming officiating.
