Charles Allen Noe, 88, entered into the loving arms of Jesus during the evening hours of Tuesday (February 18, 2020). Charles was born on July 15, 1931 in Bristol, TN to the late Allen Ambrose & Laura Rebecca (Messer) Noe.
Charles unselfishly served our country in the United States Air Force retiring as a Chief Master Sargent after 32 years of dedication, serving during the Vietnam War. He attended Lewis Lane Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Corena Noe; and son, William A. Noe.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard Noe; two daughters, Ramona Little & husband Derek and Mary Hill & husband Kim; two sister, Margie Holcomb and Rose Bowden; seven grandchildren, Randall Noe, Amy Hicks, Michael Noe, Bradley Noe, Paul Hill, Heather Reid, and Adam Little; seven great-grandchildren, Serenity Hill, Jocelyn Hill, Lincoln Hill, Zachary Noe, Jaren Hicks, Ashten Hicks, and Dylan Reid; one great great-grandson, Cameron William Hicks; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday (February 21, 2020) from 5 to 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home at 7 p.m. with Pastor Keith Smith officiating.
Charles will be entombed rest beside his beloved wife on Saturday (February 22, 2020) at 11 a.m. in Chapel of Memories at East Lawn Memorial Park. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Posts 3/265
