Charlsie Scalf, age 75, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. A loving mother of three, having a strong Christian faith with the spiritual gift of service. She was an animal lover and an adamant reader of history and the Word of God.
Charlsie is survived by her children: James "Jimmy", Joey and Trisha. Grandchildren: Austin and Mandy, whom referred to their grandmother as "Mauders." Sisters: Bobbie June Garrett and Wanda Kay Scalf. Niece: Shannon Covington.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Scalf and Ina Crisp and brother Donald Scalf.
An open invitation is extended to family and friends to gather in Charlsie's memory and honor, from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM in East Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Jody Jenkins officiating.
