Chastity Legail Wilson, 40, passed away during the evening hours of Thursday (February 21, 2019) following an extended illness. Chastity was born on October 5, 1978, in Kingsport, TN to the late Walter Lee Wilson and Brenda Faye Hicks.
Chastity enjoyed animals, music, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her father, Chastity was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Wayne Wilson.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Brenda Faye Hicks & fiancé, Paul Mayfield; fiancé, Larry Dean Carter; special “sister”, Danielle Nicole Wilson; two step-sisters, Tinalynn Hatfield and Tonya McMurray; aunt, Sandra Falin; uncle, Donnie Haynes; nephew, Danny Wayne Wilson, Jr.; special cousin, Lisa Nichols; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday (February 26, 2019) from 5 to 7 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Chastity’s Life will be held on Wednesday (February 27, 2019) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Dusty Wallen officiating. Chastity will be laid to rest following the funeral service at noon in the Garden of Everlasting Life III at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Carter, Logan Jones, Donnie Haynes, Billy Jo Bellamy, Paul Mayfield, and Charlie Schaffer.
