Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was cherished by her family and friends. Her strength and grace in life inspired us all.
She was dedicated to her career in the insurance industry where she was recognized as the insurance woman of the year, a testament to her commitment and excellence in her field.
Connie was a life long resident of Kingsport and was a member of Mayfair United Methodist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school for several years. She also enjoyed bowling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Connie had a very quick witted personality and loved to joke. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Helen Harris, her husband, Ray Henry McQueen Sr., and sister Kathy Reed.
She is survived by her son, Ray Henry McQueen Jr. and wife Jennie Blevins; her daughters, Amy McQueen Taylor and husband Kenny, Melissa McQueen Culbertson and husband Rusty; Six grandchildren, Peyton and Meggan Taylor, Jacob and Ethan McQueen and Chloe and Charlie Culbertson; and two beautiful great grandchildren.
Connie will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and her vibrant spirit that touched the hearts of many.
