I have just learned of Cora's death from my lifetime Acworth friend, Jo Smith Frey.  Cora, her husband Tommy, and daughter Hilda, were part of the fabric of my life growing up in Acworth. As a youth leader with Tommy, she was an inspiration. She played the piano artfully and with a flourish all her own!  For many years, she accompanied the choir and a quartet in which Jo and I sang during our teenage years at Acworth Baptist Church.  She was beautiful and her Easter hats were masterpieces! What fond memories I have of "Miss Cora."  I express to Hilda, Bill and Cora's family my fondest regards and deepest sympathy. I will carry the memories of this beautiful lady with me always. Mrs. Harrison was a very special person to me in my teens when attending church at The First Baptist in Acworth.  She encouraged me in my music. She was a wonderful elegant lady and I loved her.

Cora was always upbeat and praising the Lord. It was a joy to know her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

What a joy it was to know Cora and rejoice in her music - playing the piano and singing the songs she loved so much praising the Lord! She blessed our lives beyond words! She is happily with her Lord and Saviour and we know that she was welcomed home with open arms.  With our love to all the family.
