Dana Beth Goff, 84, passed away during the morning hours of Monday (January 21, 2019) following an extended illness. Beth was born on January 8, 1935 in Slant, VA to the late Conrad & Maxie Mae (Taylor) Osborne.
Beth worked in the record shop at Huddle Electric where she met the love of her life, Harold Roy “John” Goff, who preceded her in death after 63 years of a wonderful marriage. She loved music, gardening, needle point, camping with friends, dancing, traveling, reading, and was a excellent country cook. Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beth was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Cathleen; brother, Jack Osborne; and sister, Mary Edith Dillard.
Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Adriane Goff and Jennifer Schaufele & husband Jack; grandson, Derek Roy Fields & wife Lia; great-granddaughter, Bailee Fields; brother, Kent Osborne; sister, Peggy McGlothlin; and a host of relatives and friends.
Committal services will be held on Monday (January 28, 2019) at 10 a.m. in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Will Shewey officiating.
