

Daniel B. Baum, 87, of Kingsport, passed away at Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City. Born in 1928 in Kentland, IN, he was the son of the late Henry J. Baum and Zella Zumbrum Baum.
Mr. Baum was a veteran of the United States Navy having been stationed in San Diego, CA. He grew up in Danville, IL and he and his wife, Anna lived the majority of their lives in Pennsville, NJ. He retired as an engineer from DuPont after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Anna Pagliero Baum; his daughter, Deborah Crain and her husband, Allen; sister-in-law, Mary Pagliero; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
At Mr. Baum’s request, a private graveside service will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park in Kingsport, TN with Military Honors rendered by American Legion Post #3, Kingsport and American Legion Post #265, Gate City, VA.
