Danny Joe Overbay

Danny Joe Overbay, age 67 of Blountville passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Holston Valley.

Danny was a lifelong resident of Blountville. He was the son of the late Ray Overbay.

Danny was a member of the Army National Guards for 6 years. Danny was a truck driver for most of his life. He retired from Ready Mix USA.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Gloria Jones Overbay; one son Brian Overbay, mother Imogene Goforth Overbay, sister Frances Cole, daughters Renee Hilbert and Courtney Howell, special grand daughters,Whitney Horne and Destiny Dykes; several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as several great grandchildren.
