David William Robinson

David William Robinson, 53, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family. David was born on November 6, 1960 in Sullivan County, Tennessee the son of the late Earnest Edward Robinson and Jose Lee Bishop Robinson. He was a member of Browders Chapel, and loved nascar racing. He was preceded in death by one son, Dusty William Robinson and one sister, Brenda Lee Robinson. Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Linda Robinson; son, Cody Robinson, of the home; two brothers, Larry Robinson and wife Kathy, of Kingsport, TN and Michael Robinson and wife Cathy, of Jonesborough, TN; one sister, Barbara Schronce and husband Randy, of Lincolnton, NC; a very special nephew that David loved as a son, Ryan Sloan; several nieces and nephews; and numerous loving friends and family. The family will receive friend’s Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for David will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kyle Falin, Brother Michael Robinson and Pastor Ed McClain officiating. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 12:00pm in the Garden of Hope at East Lawn Memorial. Pallbearers will be Junior Horne, Michael Robinson, Paul Robinson, Chad Robinson, Steve Bowman and Rick Meade. Honorary Pallbearers will be Logan Robinson, Seth Elliott, Tyler Bowman and Landon Davis. A funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 11:45am Sunday.
