D.B. Long passed away on November 24, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 18, 1929. He retired from Bradley Brothers and Longs Construction. He became a Christian in October 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents John K. and Lucy Long, son Troy Long, brothers Wayland Long, Fred Long and J.B. Long, and first wife Norma Jean Long and Granddaughter Amy Kistner.

Survivors include wife Faye Long, daughters Brenda & Garvey Winegar, Debby & Glen Winegar, Candy & Mike Haire, Frances & Ralph Dingus and Phyllis & Lennis France, son John & Janice Long, Sister Mary Etta Haney, Brothers James W. Long and wife Aleta and Monroe Long, 13 Grandchildren & 25 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 6:00pm til 8:00pm ay East Lawn Funeral Home in Kingsport; TN. Funeral Services will follow in the Chapel with Rev. Lennis France & Rev. Ralph Dingus officiating and music by grandson Nathan Aquino.

Graveside Service will be Sunday November 28, 2010 at 12:30 pm in East Lawn Memorial Park.
