He was born September 24th 1963, in Sullivan County, Tennessee. He lived in Toledo, Ohio from the young age of 5, where he remained raising a family until September 2022 when he returned to Blountville, Tennessee to live.
He retired from the Ann Arbor Railroad after 24 years.
Don loved the outdoors, camping, biking, hiking. He loved gardening, whether it be growing vegetables or flowers, and spending time with his family, whom he absolutely loved more than anything.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John R. and Ivy Browder; maternal grandparents, Conley and Gertrude Bishop; father, Donald Lee Browder Sr; stepfather, J.B. Huffman; and sister, Leetta Browder Siegler
He is survived by his mother, Kay Huffman (Blountville); sister Sheila Huffman (Blountville); children Crystal Aiken (Alan), Toledo, Ohio, Donald lll (Sarah), Toledo, Ohio, Beth Torres (Charles), Toledo, Ohio, Adam Browder (Allie) , Toledo, Ohio, Megan Browder (Charlie), Toledo, Ohio, Morgan Hanson (Annette), Michigan, Nick Browder, Blountville Tennessee; stepbrother, Clifford Huffman, Alanson, Michigan; nine grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donald is also survived by a special cousin he grew up with, Rodney Forbes, Gray, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Monday, September 28, 2026, at East Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Browder officating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
