Donald was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, and a life-long member of the American Sokol Gymnastic Organization. He loved the gym exhibitions, volleyball, and social time with his best friend, Edwin Jirousek, of Cleveland OH. Upon the death of his parents, he moved to Kingsport to be near his sister Patti, and besides the Ohio family he missed Sokol the most. He was member of Indian Springs Christina Church. He had great fondness for the members and especially his Pastor, Mike Beverley. Donald will be greatly missed.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Donald James & Patricia Thelma (Lee) Ranc; brother-in-law, Tod M. Wilson; and great nephew, Alan Mueller.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Patti Wilson of Kingsport, TN; brothers, David Ranc & wife Tess of Nacogdoches, TX, John Ranc & wife Gail of the Villages, FL., and Robert E. Ranc & wife Joann of North Ridgeville OH; 13 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and great nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday (September 26, 2020) from 5 to 6 pm at Indian Springs Christian Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mike Beverly officiating. Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to wear a mask at your own discretion.
Donald will be laid to rest on Saturday (October 10, 2020) at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, OH.
