Douglas Wayne Hamm Jr., 48, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee. He was born on December 20, 1966 in Wise County, Virginia. Mr. Hamm was an Electrician at IBEW and a member of IBEW local 934. Left to cherish his memory were his wife, Karen McCarter; parents, Patricia Sue Nickles Hamm, Douglas Wayne Hamm Sr. and wife Shirley Hamm; step-daughter, Ashley McCarter; sister, Carol Lynn Spurgeon and husband Todd Duncan; step brother, Bruce Stevens; granddaughter, Lillian Busha; niece, Brandilyn Hamm; and nephew, Travis Spurgeon. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church, 112 Walnut Hill Road, Bristol, Tennessee, with Dr. Stan Anderson officiating.
