Dreama Diane Helton

She was born August 14, 1952, in Cripple Creek, Virginia to the late Edgar and Bertha Hale Davis. Dreama was a preschool teacher for several years, and before her retirement she was a realtor.

In addition to her parents, Dreama is preceded in death by a sister, Freida Horne and a brother, John Davis.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Russ Helton; two daughters, Emily (Matthew) Timbs and Katheryn (Chris) Carrier. Dreama is also survived by three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at East Lawn Memorial Park’s Garden of Love with Pastor Tom Hancock officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 1:50 P.M.
