

Earl F. Proctor, 90, passed away at his home June 17, 2011 surrounded by his loved ones. He was retired from Southern Railway in Knoxville, Tennessee. Earl was a World War II Veteran serving in Europe in 1944 and 1945. He loved trains and would talk about them a lot. He was an avid Vol football fan. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather Keypaw. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Simeon B. Proctor; mother Lucinda Arwine Proctor and son Robert L. Ellison. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth (Baby Doll) Proctor, daughter Faye Powell and husband Bob, daughter-in-law Carolyn Ellison, grandchildren Jeff Powell and wife Lisa, Luke Ellison and wife Tammy, Lisa Grigsby and husband Sean, Kristi Kilgore and husband Randy, Beth Waugh and husband Dustin, eleven great grandchildren. Earl was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday from12 noon till 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with the funeral service being held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Jeff Strong will be officiating. Graveside Military services will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Having the honor of serving as pallbearers will be Sean Grigsby, Grant Grigsby, Gavin Grigsby, Randy Kilgore, Corbin Kilgore, Colten Kilgore, Luke Ellison, Dalton Ellison, Jeff Powell, Dustin Waugh, Wesley Waugh, and honorary pallbearers will be Emily, Lynsey and Allie Powell, Mia and MaKenna Waugh.
