Edith was born in Lee County, VA on July 16, 1919 to the late Mark and Lula Reasor. Edith was a kind, sincere, and devoted woman with a smiling face that brought joy to those she touched. She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She was saved when she was 12 years old. Edith was a charter member of the Eastern Star 157 of Big Stone Gap and a member if the Liberty Chapter 159.
Edith is precede in death by her husband of 63 years, Roy Shuler and daughter Patricia Statzer.
She is survived by her son, Doug Shuler and wife Linda; grandchildren, Travis Shuler, Lori Rolins, Leah Kordenbrock, and Rachel Klump; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Ann Shuler; and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 11:00 to 1:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm in the chapel with her great-nephew, Rev. Joshua Hunt and Tom Williams officiating.
