Elizabeth Jane Crowther

Elizabeth Jane Crowther, age 61, entered into rest April 25, 2011 at her residence. She was born April 11, 1950 in Roda, Virginia and had lived in Kingsport since 1977. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maudie Shepherd. Jane was formerly employed in the Emergency Room at Indian Path Hospital. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Burl “Snap” Reed, two daughters, Danella Campbell and husband Eric, Venus Tanner and fiancée Tony Brown all of Kingsport, five grandchildren, Noah Tanner, Eva Brown, Eliza, Seth, and Aimee Campbell, one brother, Daniel Shepherd and wife Glenda, niece and nephew, Cory and Laura Shepherd all of Miami, Fl., two sisters in law, Lisa Mallory and husband Jeff and children, Tracy Brooks and children, one brother in law, Rick Reed and children all of Kingsport. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home.
