Elvira A. Schuld

Vera A. Schuld, age 89 of Bristol VA, was taken by the hand of her Lord and Savior, Yeshua Messiah, Wednesday afternoon at 4pm, March 29th,2023. Vera was born on April 29th, 1933 in N.Y.C.,NY to Vincent and Adele Valentino.

Vera continued to live in Staten Island NY where she graduated high school and then worked various jobs. In 1965, she married Robert Hepworth and moved to Long Island in 1969 with their 3 children. She loved to work and was involved in Real Estate, working at jewelry stores and flea markets, and then retiring from Stony Brook University Hospital as an administrative clerk. In 1995 she moved down to Merritt Island FL and worked at Kennedy Space Center as a tour guide in the visitors center. She enjoyed living in FL and kept busy playing cards, mahjong and bowling. She there met Joseph Schuld and they were married in January of 2001. After living in FL for 22yrs, they moved up to Bristol VA in 2017 for health reasons. After Joe died, Vera moved in with her daughter Donna and family. She enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also continued to play cards at the senior center and take trips to dinner theater with new friends she met.

Vera gave her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2022 being led to HIM by a dear friend Marge Johnson who also was a caregiver for her. Her last year was spent in Hospice and she loved everyone (her family, caregivers and hospice workers) to the very end.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Mario and her son Vincent Lintern. Also, her 1st husband Robert and 2nd husband Joseph. Left to cherish and carry on her testimony are her 3 children; Donna Passamonte and husband Tom, Kim Norman and husband Eric, and Guy Hepworth. 9 grandchildren, Gianina Haymaker and husband Harrison, Brianna Torres and husband Dalton, Thomas Passamonte and wife Taylor, Christina Passamonte, Joseph Passamonte, and Domenick Passamonte. Ethan Norman, Colin Norman and Alden Norman; 5 great grandchildren and also friends and caregivers.
